Oh yes, there is another side to Warsaw...

 ...other than that dark dusty construction site.
 So here are some Sunday impressions of the old town. In no particular order.


The castle. demolished to rubble by the Nazis in 1944. Rebuilt by the Polish in 1974. Very impressive.

 Churches. Tucked in everywhere.



 The palace of culture. Or 'Tower of Power'. A 'gift' from Stalin. Still the tallest structure in Warsaw.



 The biggest of many theaters.

 University gates.
 Fancy Hotel Bristol. Not where we're staying.



 There's at least one in every city in the world.
 Snowflake castle.


 Much more color at night.
